3 Ways to Cook... Asparagus!
3 delicious and unique things to do with asparagus! Yup spring is here :)
Pickled asparagus (great for cheese boards or bloody mary’s)
1 small bunch asparagus
3/4 C distilled vinegar
1/2 tsp each: chili flakes, mustard seeds, dreid dill
3-4 peppercorns
1/2 tsp salt (kosher)
1-2 crushed garlic cloves
optional 1-2 tsp sugar
Crisp & fresh asparagus salad
1 small bunch asparagus
2 tbsp olive oil, plus more as needed
Juice from 1/2 lemon, plus more to taste
Salt & pepper to taste
Shavings of parmesan (~1/4 cup)
Creamy & lemony asparagus pasta
1 small bunch asparagus
1/2 lb of dry fettuccini or spaghetti
Salt (for pasta water & to taste at the end)
Lemon zest (1/2 lemon)
3-4 tbsp butter
2-3 tbsp reserved pasta water
1/2 tsp chili flakes
Pepper to taste
Grated parmesan to top
