An important update

We hope this finds you and your loved ones well. We are writing this post with somewhat heavy hearts. Alice and I have made the difficult decision to close down Seattle Cucina by then end of June 2021. While we may open back up some day, we have no date set. We moved out of our location at the Fishermen’s Terminal and will continue to offer online and digital products for as long as we can. In addition, look out for another post about our pivot to digital and printable materials (videos, recipes, and activities) that will be available on our website!

This does mean that, unfortunately, we will not be offering our own camps this summer 2021. You CAN take a summer camp (or 2 or 3!) with Chef Erica at PCC (to be posted by April end of month). And you CAN sign up for our spring break campspring enrichment series, and self guided classes.

If you or your child has taken a class with us over the past five years, we want to thank you. Thank you for trusting us with your child, your food, and your learning experience. Thank you for investing in a small business, founded by two women with a dream to make cooking more accessible for kids and families. We wish you the best as we all transition out of the pandemic. We are certainly looking forward to cooking and eating with our loved ones (in person!) and hope you get to do the same!

[Here is a fun and nostalgic video featuring a variety of our classes and events from over the years]

If you have any questions or comments please do email us anytime at whatscooking@seattlecucina.com - this email will remain active for another year or so!

All the best,

Erica & Alice
