A Better Weeknight Recipe!

Spaghetti carbonara is such a wonderful weeknight dish. It takes about 15 minutes to make and is SO SO SO good! Paired with a roasted or sauteed winter veggie, this meal is mega (healthy-ish) comfort food. Vegetarian? Try cooking diced crimini or baby bella mushrooms down with butter and salt for a savory treat instead!

This is the best fool-proof recipe we've both found for carbonara. We have struggled with over-cooking the eggs and making sauces with too much liquid or not enough flavor, but we promise that if you follow these few easy steps you'll wind up with a silky, flavorful carbonara!
